This three-hour Montmartre walk combines eight food stops with local history, art, wine, and hilltop views. English-speaking guides such as Julie, Marie, Oscar, and Pierre-Edouard lead small groups of up to 15 from Moulin Rouge to Sacré-Cœur. Expect macarons, chocolates, cheese, cured meats, wine, and plenty of stairs.

“This was a very fun afternoon filled with food and tidbits of info about the locally-owned businesses in Montmartre. Julie led a fascinating tour up the hill, winding through the neighborhood to visit shops for bites of traditional French cuisine. She easily accommodated dietary restrictions in our group, and every stop was expertly curated and ready to serve the tour. We met other travelers from the US in our group, and tried food items we would not have sought out on our own. We are still talking about the macrons!”

“Our day trip with Cedric was amazing!! Very comfortable transportation with 5 other people. He provided pastries and water for the ride. We went to Mumm in Reims, then a privately owned champagne house as well as a co-op so we could experience the different types of champagne operations. We had full glass tastings at each place. We ended up shipping bottles home at the last spot we enjoyed the champagne so much. And lunch at the second spot was delicious! We couldn’t have asked for a better day and a great value for the money.”

“Best tour ever! Our tour guide Josie was friendly, knowledgeable and kind (she even let me use her umbrella in the rain we unfortunately encountered during our walking tour). Her selection of sample treats was superb and her recommendations for each of us were on point when we chose our own samples. The store owners were pleasant and very accommodating. We learned a great deal about chocolate, pastries, breads and the city. Delicious way to spend an afternoon!”

The way he described food and the feeling you can have when eating something as simple as 1 day old goat cheese made me appreciate every little bite. I booked this on our last day of Paris and I only wish I had done it sooner so I could have appreciated the city and it's history with the people and food even more so than I already had. I spoke to him briefly afterwards about my trip to Lyon and he was so helpful.…”
