The experience is across from the Van Gogh Museum and is for visitors aged 18 and older.

Visit Bordeaux’s Wine and Trade Museum in the former cellar of royal broker Louis XV. Follow a self-guided route through vaulted cellars, old tools, documents, videos, and displays about Bordeaux wine merchants. Finish with two tastings, usually Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, plus clear advice on merchant and château wines.

Step beneath Orvieto’s medieval Cava district to explore Pozzo della Cava, a self-guided complex of nine caverns. See Etruscan, medieval, and Renaissance remains, including an ancient cistern and burial traces. Allow 30 to 60 minutes.
